Position Overview:

We're looking for a professional dispatcher who can manage loads, communicate clearly with drivers and brokers, and keep freight moving efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication (phone, email, and in-person), and can multitask without losing their cool. This role requires prior experience with hotshot dispatching and load boards — no training wheels here!

Requirements:

Must be experienced and self-sufficient with load boards, including: Truckstop DAT Power Strong understanding of 40FT hotshot equipment Professional communication and organizational skills Computer proficiency — email, TMS data entry, updating load boards, and tracking loads Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Duties Include:

Coordinate and book freight through customers and brokers Schedule load appointments and update customers regularly Dispatch loads and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day Track driver progress and resolve any routing or delay issues Keep load boards and internal systems up to date Maintain clear, consistent communication between customers, brokers, and drivers

Ideal Candidate:

1+ year of freight dispatching experience (hotshot preferred) Former hotshot driver or trucking experience is a big plus Negotiation or sales background (car sales experience welcome!) Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Thrives in a results-driven environment without losing the human touch
