Our fast-paced environment necessitates motor carrier experience.

Night Dispatch:

You must have Transportation/Logistics experience for this position. The primary purpose of this role is to manage all inbound and outbound activities for our fleet drivers in a manner that is safe, productive and timely. The Night Dispatcher is at the center of an unpredictable, deadline-driven environment. Our customers require individuals who think on both a detailed and big picture scale, and who are capable of making appropriate decisions "on the fly." The value that you bring to this organization relies on your ability to challenge and motivate your fleet to always achieve key performance indicators in a compliant manner. Oversee all aspects of high-volume accounts relating to the transportation of goods and the maintenance of the customer's needs. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values. Trace and track customer's freight. Maintain contact with customers to ensure shipper and consignees are aware of any problems. Responsible for processing pick-up and delivery requests and entering data in the system. Respond to and handle all nightly customer service requests. Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points. Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicant:

Highly organized and communicative. Must be able to work Thursday Night through Sunday Night. Ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities. High degree of initiative and independent execution Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; some familiarity with McLeod Software operating system is ideal. Ability to handle high volumes of inbound email and calls. The successful candidate must understand policies, procedures, instructions, business objectives, and applicable statues regulating the trucking industry.
