Monday to Sunday, various time/days (subject to change) Job Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating towing and recovery services, including accident response, roadside assistance, and impound operations. This role serves as the central point of communication between customers, drivers, law enforcement agencies, and partner organizations in a timely and efficient manner. The dispatcher must operate with urgency and quick response times, accurate recordkeeping, and professionalism to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service in both routine and emergency situations. Key Responsibilities Receive and process incoming calls for towing, accident recovery, roadside assistance, and impound services. Determine priority level based on call type (e.g., accident, police request, private tow, roadside assistance). Dispatch appropriate wreckers (light-duty, medium-duty, or heavy-duty) based on the situation and equipment needed. Coordinate directly with law enforcement agencies for accident scenes, vehicle removals, and impounds. Provide drivers with accurate directions, job details, and safety-related information. Monitor truck locations, job progress, and estimated time of arrival using GPS and dispatch systems. Manage high-volume and emergency calls while maintaining composure and efficiency. Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, dispatch times, job status, and completed services. Communicate with customers regarding wait times, service expectations, and updates. Coordinate with impound lots, body shops, and repair facilities for vehicle drop-offs and releases. Reading, acknowledging and responding to worked related emails and communications daily. Ensure proper documentation for impounds, including law enforcement instructions and vehicle information. Ensure all proper documentation, reports, history notes for all impounds, intakes, releases and all other services provided. Ensure all policy and procedures and all TDLR, Local, State and Federal regulations are strictly followed for all transactions. Review and Follow-up on previous day (s) work for accuracy, payments, documentation and impound status. Support drivers in the field by troubleshooting issues and adjusting dispatch priorities as needed with GPS and other tools provided. Ensure proper time keeping records (clock in/out/breaks) Maintain a professional and respectful work environment by refraining from negative or disruptive comments regarding the company, management, or colleagues. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures for Dispatch Center and Quantum Towing and Recovery LLC. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Prior experience in towing dispatch, transportation, logistics, or emergency dispatch (preferred). Knowledge of local roads, highways, accident-prone areas, and traffic patterns. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations. Excellent communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and law enforcement. Familiarity with towing equipment types and dispatch software (preferred). Basic computer proficiency, including GPS tracking and data entry systems. Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Work Environment Fast-paced towing dispatch center with frequent high-priority and emergency calls. Continuous use of phones, radios, and computer systems. Exposure to stressful situations involving accidents, breakdowns, and customer emergencies.Core Competencies:
