Full Job Description Job Summary :
The logistics dispatcher job description entails coordinating logistics activities for the company. This includes making sure that all goods arrive at their destination on time and on schedule. It is important to ensure that the right materials are delivered to the right place at the right time. Logistics dispatchers keep track of inventory levels and order stock accordingly. They work with customers who want to change orders or cancel them. It is also their responsibility to find out why these changes were requested and how much extra work this will cause. A logistics dispatcher needs to know when and where shipments are due to arrive.Job Functions:
- Planning and dispatching pick-up delivery.
- Communication with customers
- Coordination of relations between the client, the supplier and the driver.
- Optimization and synchronization of transport operations.
- Knowledge of regulations in the transport of goods
- Track shipments while in transit
- Making sure all deliveries are on time to each customer.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- Valid ID
- Experience in Dispatch (Required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Ability to pass BG check
