SOC Operator / Dispatcher Must have an Alarm Systems Monitor license.
Position Summary:
First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is hiring multiple SOC Operators / Dispatchers in the Plano area to monitor alerts and camera feeds across approximately 2300 sites in the United States. The ideal candidate must be flexible to work in a 24/7 shift operations environment (day, night, weekends, holidays). Please note this is not a security role and in order to be considered candidates must have or be willing to get Alarm Systems Monitor license.
Responsibilities:
Monitor CCTV, GPS, alarms, and tracking systems in real-time. Receive and document incoming calls and incident reports. Dispatch appropriate personnel or emergency services. Maintain incident logs and communication records. Escalate critical events according to established protocols.
Shifts available:
10:30pm - 7:00am
Wednesday & Thursday Off Qualifications:
Alarm Systems Monitor License Excellent multitasking and situational awareness. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in dispatch, 911, or control room operations preferred. Familiarity with security or logistics monitoring software. Maintain professional composure under pressure. Adhere strictly to confidentiality and information security policies. Document all actions clearly and accurately. Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and responsiveness. Be flexible for 24/7 shift operations (day, night, weekends, holidays).
Compensation:
$20 Weekly Paid Full-Time Employee Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO): 1st
Year:
Accrue up to 7 days (56 hours) 2nd
Year:
Accrue up to 10 days (80 hours) 5th Year and beyond: Accrue up to 15 days (120 hours)
Health Insurance:
Company pays up to $300/month toward employee's health insurance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (eligible after first month)
Retirement:
401(k) plan with up to 4% company match
