Role:

RDI Mechanical is looking for an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our team in Tomball, TX. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role built for someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:

Dispatch and schedule field technicians efficiently and accurately Monitor and track job progress from assignment to completion Communicate clearly with technicians, customers, and management Manage and prioritize service calls in real time Enter and track Purchase Orders accurately Handle incoming customer calls professionally Maintain accurate records using dispatching software and Excel Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts quickly

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PO systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment Efficient and accurate typist

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience scheduling and routing field technicians Familiarity with BuildOps or similar dispatching software Knowledge of service workflows and job tracking Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Professional phone and customer service skills Solution-focused mindset with a team-first attitude
