Draper, UT Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary The Dispatch Customer Service Representative (CSR) works in the Dispatch Office alongside fellow CSRs and Shippers to support the daily operations of American Eagle Ready Mix. This role is responsible for coordinating communication between customers, drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate order scheduling, efficient dispatching, and high-quality customer service while supporting safe and reliable operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Communications Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and vendors. Communicate clearly, professionally, and timely via phone, text messaging platforms, and email. Assist Dispatch Shippers with day-to-day operational needs as required. Order Scheduling & Dispatch Support Enter, schedule, and maintain ready-mix concrete orders accurately and efficiently. Ensure orders are correct and scheduled to support on-time, in-spec deliveries throughout the Northern Utah market. Coordinate and document order changes, customer requests, and delivery updates in accordance with company procedures. Customer Service Build and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication, organization, and problem-solving. Provide responsive and professional customer service in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and occasionally high-pressure environment. Employee Scheduling (Advanced CSR Position) Prepare and distribute daily driver schedules to align with customer orders and operational needs. Ensure schedules are communicated accurately and on time for next-day operations. Safety & Operational Awareness Maintain awareness of safety considerations when scheduling deliveries, including weather conditions, jobsite constraints, and operational limitations. Escalate safety concerns, scheduling conflicts, or operational issues to Dispatch Management as appropriate. Accuracy & Documentation Ensure accuracy of all order details, including but not limited to, mix design, quantities, delivery times, and jobsite instructions. Maintain proper communications documentation, changes, and scheduling details to support operational efficiency and accountability. Technology & Systems Utilize dispatching, scheduling, and communication software to support daily operations. Demonstrates strong proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and systems simultaneously, with fast and accurate typing skills. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes as business needs evolve. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support dispatch operations and overall business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes high-pressure environment. Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, dispatching/scheduling software, and general office technology. Comfortable managing high call volumes, texting platforms, and email communications. Reliable attendance and punctuality required to ensure consistent dispatch coverage. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. Prior ready-mix, construction, or dispatch experience preferred but not required. Ability to work full-time. Working Conditions Office-based position. Professional yet relaxed dress code. Assigned personal workstation in a collaborative office environment with close proximity to others. May require extended hours, early mornings, or schedule flexibility based on business and operational needs.
