Service Dispatcher A-Core Concrete Specialists - 4.0 Murray, UT Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Full Job Description A-Core Concrete Cutting is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Dispatcher to support our Utah Service Division located in Murray, Utah. The Service Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily service operations, scheduling jobs, assigning qualified employees to projects, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, and managing recurring service accounts. This role serves as the primary communication link between customers, field personnel, and management to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scheduling & Dispatching Schedule daily service jobs for concrete cutting, core drilling, and related services. Monitor daily workloads and adjust schedules as needed to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Assign technicians and operators to jobs based on skill level, certifications, equipment requirements, availability, and geographic location. Support sales representatives with scheduling projects and accounts. Ensure all the equipment needed is ready and available Coordinate emergency and priority service requests while minimizing schedule disruptions. Ensure field crews have accurate job information, work orders, directions, and customer requirements. Customer Service Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, job status, and service requests. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries. Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and key accounts. Communicate schedule changes, delays, and project updates proactively. Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Manage scheduling needs for recurring service customers and ongoing maintenance accounts. Develop efficient service schedules that accommodate repeat customer requirements while optimizing company resources. Track customer preferences and service history to improve response times and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities to increase service frequency and strengthen customer relationships. Operational Support Work closely with Operation Managers to ensure proper staffing levels. Verify employee certifications, training requirements, and equipment availability before dispatching. Maintain accurate scheduling records, job notes, and customer information within company software systems. Assist with job prioritization and resource planning. Coordinates and assists in billing smaller jobs and COD customers. Monitor technician productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or construction industry experience. Experience in concrete cutting, construction services, or field service operations. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling or dispatch software.
