Light Industrial Manufacturing Lingo Staffing is hiring a Dispatcher for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA! This is a great opportunity for skilled warehouse and material handling professionals with forklift and/or overhead crane experience who are looking for steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term growth in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move raw materials and finished goods Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently Transport materials to and from production areas Stage and organize finished products for shipment Store raw materials in designated locations according to company standards Maintain inventory accuracy and follow material handling procedures Occasionally use hand tools and read basic blueprints as needed Maintain safety and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment
Requirements:
Previous forklift and/or overhead crane experience required Ability to lift 50-100 lbs throughout the shift Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Basic computer and math skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment Ability to follow written instructions and read basic production documents
