PSCG is an SDVOSB delivering federal disaster response, emergency management, and recovery consulting. We place our people at the center of active response operations and deliver the planning products that move disaster recovery forward.THE ROLE PSCG
is seeking a Senior Emergency Management Specialist to serve as our lead planner across active task orders in federal disaster response and recovery. The role combines reach-back planning work from our New Braunfels office with periodic deployment to JFOs, RFOs, and state emergency operations centers in direct support of prime contractor missions.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, and Planning Section products using ICS and NIMS doctrine. Support ESF coordination (ESF 3, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14) at JFOs and state EOCs. Produce damage assessment reports, mission assignment documentation, and RFI responses. Coordinate directly withFEMA FCO
staff, state coordinating officer staff, and local emergency management. Author deployed situation reports and after-action documentation. Advise PSCG and prime contractor teams on Stafford Act authorities and PA program scope. Mentor mid-level emergency management specialists assigned to task orders. Deploy as required for 30- to 90-day rotations to active disaster sites.WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, homeland security, or related discipline. Eight or more years of emergency management experience at federal, state, or local level. Direct disaster response experience on at least one Stafford Act declared disaster.ICS 100, 200, 300, 400
; IS-700; IS-800 complete. U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Current U.S. passport and medical fitness for deployment.WHAT WE'D ALSO LIKE TO SEE
Active Public Trust or Secret clearance. Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification. FEMA Public Assistance Coordinator certification (IS-1000 series). Prior JFO, state EOC, or USACE Recovery Field Office experience. Pacific, Caribbean, or Gulf region disaster response experience.WHAT WE OFFER
