Position Type & Location:

Full-time Weekends and evenings as needed Must work on-site at our headquarters located in the Austin metro area

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Summary:

The EMS director will be involved in the planning, developing, and evaluating the activities of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division. In addition to assisting with all aspects of the company. Job duties include field operations and business office administration. This can include managing fleet, equipment, budget, scheduling, and other duties directed by the facility Executive Director. This position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about improving emergency medical and medical transportation services while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Educational & Knowledge Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred; but not required Previous EMS experience. (Minimum of 5 years preferred) Currently holds certification as a Paramedic, preferred Critical Care Paramedic. Must hold current and active State license/Registration/Certification. Knowledge of emergency medical services policies, practices, and procedures; and pre-hospital medical care practices and procedures. Knowledge of the principles and practices of business management; personnel management; budgeting and financial management; and RFP/contracts. At least three (3) years in a supervisory role. Excellent leadership and delegation abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Fleet management experience is a plus.

Additional Specific Requirements:

Must hold a current and active State license/Registration/Certification. Knowledge of emergency medical services policies, practices, and procedures; and pre-hospital medical care practices and procedures. Knowledge of the principles and practices of business management; personnel management; budgeting and financial management; and RFP/contracts. Knowledge of HIPAA and transport rules/regulations.
