Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our Affordable Senior Housing facility. This role is vital in ensuring that the facility operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently, providing an exceptional environment for tenants, staff, and visitors. Your leadership will help maintain the property's value, uphold regulatory standards, and enhance overall tenant satisfaction. Benefits Flexible work schedule Company cell phone or monthly reimbursement Potential living accommodations onsite Responsibilities Oversee property maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep to ensure optimal facility performance. Manage leasing processes, including property leasing, tenant relations, and lease administration using systems like OneSite. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, Section 8 guidelines, and other legal requirements across all property operations. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and facilities upgrades. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping related to property management activities. Handle customer service inquiries from tenants, family members and prospective tenants with professionalism and courtesy. Manage conflict resolution between tenants or staff by applying effective conflict management strategies to foster a positive community environment. Oversee office administrative functions such as phone etiquette, filing systems, and legal administrative tasks related to property management. Monitor property safety standards, conduct regular inspections for property maintenance issues, and coordinate emergency responses as needed. Experience Proven experience in property management. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with property management software such as OneSite for leasing and operational tracking. Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service excellence within a property or office environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing systems, and record keeping. Must be computer savvy. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
