POSITION SUMMARY

: The Facilities Coordinator ensures the overall functionality, safety and appearance of all facilities and grounds by taking ownership of maintenance activities, performing routine repairs and facility improvement projects, overseeing vendors, supporting operating needs across the Montgomery location. Duties

• Actively participate in Logistics Team Meetings.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs of facilities and grounds to proactively identify maintenance, safety and appearance concerns.
• Perform minor building repairs and routine maintenance projects
• Troubleshoot basic facility and equipment issues and determine when escalation to outside vendors in necessary.
• Coordinate with third-party companies on matters related to building security, grounds maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, and other such issues that need escalation from routine maintenance.
• Maintain emergency action plans in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist Chief Compliance Officer with implementation of compliance initiatives onsite.
• Oversee all agency-related inspections and acquire any necessary permits and certifications.
• Maintain and submit accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, work orders, annual inspections, and inventory.
• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities to maintain and update office and storage database and assist Montgomery Campus leaders in effectively utilizing these spaces.
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance from all departments and ensure maintenance tickets are addressed in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Manager to perform pickup of facility-related supplies, equipment and materials.
• Track and coordinate routine maintenance schedules for agency vehicles, including car washes, servicing and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities. Required Skills
• Attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and use of hand and power tools
• Ability to complete minor maintenance and repair projects independently with limited supervision
• Ability to safely lift, move and transport facility equipment and supplies as needed.
• Completes all tasks according to their specifications.
• Well organized and responsible.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements of regular and predictable attendance.
• Comply with FHHS core policies and procedures.
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers, managers, supervisors, clients and vendors to be a good representative of FHHS.
