The Phoenix Convention Center and Venues host a diverse range of conventions, trade shows, meetings, entertainment events, and performances in one of the premier convention and entertainment facilities in the United States. The Phoenix Convention Center Department is seeking a dynamic Electrical Facilities Supervisor to oversee the Electrical Workgroup that is responsible for the electrical infrastructure at the Phoenix Convention Center, Symphony Hall, Orpheum Theatre, Herberger Theater Center, and associated garages. This position reports to the Convention Center Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for the implementation of moderately complex electrical installations and projects. This position assigns duties, supervises and inspects the work of the Electrical Maintenance Forepersons, skilled Electricians, and Electrician Apprentices. The Electrical Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the training and development of employees. The Electrical Facilities Supervisor at the Phoenix Convention Center oversees the operations of the electrical building systems and infrastructure, budget and planning for Electrical improvements and projects, manages several service contracts and supervises electrical staff.

Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities. Successful in visionary thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Flexibility in dynamic environments. Familiarity of facility infrastructure, building trade disciplines and concepts, contract management, and Venue Management and Facility Maintenance industries. Familiar with Capital Improvement Project (CIP).
SALARY Pay Range:
$84,468.80 - $124,000.00 annually.
Hiring Range:
$84,468.80 - $113,193.60 annually.
Pay Range Explanation:

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase. Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease. Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Three years of experience as a skilled Electrician. Two years of experience supervising electrical maintenance crews. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Working irregular hours, second and/or third shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings may be required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus: Experience with/in Implementing Policies Procedures. Overseeing large Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs. Budget and Procurement. Regulatory Compliance (NFPA70E, MSDS, Safety, Environmental). SAP or related work order system administrations. Contract Management and Contractor Management. Three or more years of experience at a Journey level Electrician. Five or more years of professional level experience working in large facilities related to venue / campus administration, building maintenance, engineering services and capital projects. Five or more years of experience directly supervising multiple building trades and large work groups. Five or more years of experience managing annual operating budgets and capital improvements that exceed multi-million dollar projects. Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction administration, project management or related field. Proficient with
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook. Generating reports and performance statistics.
