Job Description

Akima Intra-Data (AID) is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work in El Centro, California. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Responsibilities Manages program(s) to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Responsible for the delivery of an assigned program(s). Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management. Responsible for managing activities of external consultants and/or vendors. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. A strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of Navy Facility Management standards (NAVFAC). Plan, organize, and direct all assigned facilities O&M and airfield operations activities. Ensure compliance with NAVFAC standards, DoD regulations, and contract requirements. Manage schedules, budgets, and performance for both fixed-price and cost-reimbursable work. Supervise multi-disciplinary teams, including SCA and CBA employees, ensuring productivity and adherence to standards. Develop and implement training programs; initiate corrective actions when necessary. Formulate and enforce work standards; review and resolve work discrepancies. Prepare, review, and submit required reports accurately and on time. Communicate organizational policies, goals, and objectives to staff. Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for facilities and airfield assets. Oversee daily work activities to ensure timely completion and compliance with quality control standards, document inspections and work activities. Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures; recommend improvements to safety programs and training. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with COR, KO, and other stakeholders; respond promptly to customer requests with accurate deliverables. Coordinate and lead emergency repair efforts after hours and on weekends as required. Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check. Bachelors in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration or related field. Shall have at least 5 years of experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity. Job
