Schedule:
Thursday-Monday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Some weekday daytime hours are required periodically for onboarding and training BRIDGES Community Treatment Services, Inc. is a nonprofit mental health provider serving adults with serious mental health conditions in licensed residential treatment programs. We are seeking a PM Residential Supervisor to provide leadership, structure, and consistency during evening and weekend hours across two adult residential programs located on the same campus, with a combined total of 26-27 beds . This role serves as the on‑site supervisory presence during hours when program directors are typically off‑site and is critical to maintaining safe operations, staff support, and quality care. About the Role The PM Residential Supervisor acts on behalf of Residential Directors and within program guidelines during evening and weekend hours and provides real‑time leadership, decision‑making, and guidance to Mental Health Workers (MHWs). This position supports staff performance, oversees shift operations, ensures medication processes are followed, responds to urgent situations, and maintains effective communication with key leadership team members, staff, and clients. This role is ideal for someone who: Leads calmly and decisively Communicates clearly (written and verbal) Maintains strong professional boundaries Creates consistency, structure, and stability Is comfortable making judgment calls within policy and scope Has experience working with adults with serious mental illness and co‑occurring substance use disorders and can respond effectively to a wide range of behaviors, needs, and levels of functioning. Key Responsibilities (Summary) Provide on‑site supervision and leadership for PM and weekend staff Serve as the primary point of authority during assigned shifts Support, coach, and mentor MHWs; reinforce expectations and boundaries Oversee evening medication processes in coordination with nursing and program protocols Respond to crises, safety concerns, and urgent situations appropriately Ensure policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (CCL/DMH) are followed Assist with coordinating shift coverage if needed and respond to last‑minute staffing issues. Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and operational needs Communicate effectively with Program Directors, Nurse, and leadership regarding significant events Support smooth handoffs between day, PM, and weekend shifts Document and report incidents and unusual occurrences clearly and timely May assist with coverage of MHW shifts when needed Qualifications (Recruitment Level) Age 21+ AA or BA in behavioral health, substance use certification, and/or related field (at the agency's discretion, experience may substitute) Experience working with adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders Prior experience in lead, senior, or supervisory roles in a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated judgment, reliability, and ability to work independently Comfortable supervising staff and addressing performance or conduct issues during PM and weekend shifts, using sound judgment and consulting with program directors as appropriate Ability to work in a residential, home‑like treatment setting with strong professional boundaries, using trauma‑informed practices to support safety, respect, and consistency Valid driver's license; DOJ/FBI clearance required Must be able to manage physical aspects of the role as needed Why This Role Matters This position plays a key role in: Maintaining staff confidence and consistency during the Director's off‑hours Supporting client safety and stability Preventing crises from escalating overnight or on weekends Ensuring continuity between shifts and leadership
