Job Description:
We are seeking a Freelance Facilities Manager to support daily building operations in Burbank, California, from 6/23/2026 through 12/23/2026, with the possibility of extension or conversion.
Pay Rate:
$45.38/hour This onsite role will oversee facility maintenance, coordinate repairs, and help ensure that spaces, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and compliant with applicable standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This person will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and service crews to maintain smooth facility operations while providing a high level of support across the workplace. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day facility maintenance, repairs, and operational requests. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to address building needs efficiently. Monitor equipment, building systems, and site conditions to support safety and compliance standards. Help track facility-related expenses and provide support for budget management activities. Prioritize and manage multiple projects, work orders, and timelines simultaneously. Respond to facility concerns in a professional and service-oriented manner. Support a well-maintained, organized, and functional workplace environment. Required Qualifications At least 1 year of project management experience, including managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. At least 3 years of interpersonal and customer service experience, with strong communication skills. At least 3 years of experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to take initiative, remain productive during slower periods, and identify additional ways to support the team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Planon or a similar work order management system. Bachelor's degree preferred. Skills and Attributes Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures. Strong judgment, adaptability, dependability, and follow-through.
