Job Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Facility & Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing facility operations and maintenance activities within a global, multi-site manufacturing organization. This role ensures that all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulatory and company standards. Operating within an international manufacturing environment, this position collaborates with engineering, operations, safety, and external vendors across multiple locations to support production continuity and facility reliability. The supervisor plays a critical role in implementing preventative maintenance programs, managing capital and infrastructure projects, and ensuring compliance with global safety and environmental regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility & Maintenance Operations:
  • Plan, prioritize, assign, and supervise facility maintenance activities
  • Maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Preventative Maintenance & Reliability:
  • Develop preventative maintenance programs
  • Conduct inspections and ensure equipment reliability
Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standards
  • Maintain safety programs and hazardous material procedures
Project & Vendor Management:
  • Coordinate construction, remodels, and facility upgrades
  • Manage vendors, RFQs, and contractor performance
Budgeting & Resource Management:
  • Control supplies, tools, and equipment budgets
  • Allocate resources across facility operations
Team Leadership:
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff
  • Promote safety and operational excellence
Other Duties:
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of facility maintenance experience with supervisory duties
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial controls
  • Familiarity with CAD systems
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements
CERTIFICATIONS
(PREFERRED)
  • HVAC or technical certifications
  • Safety or environmental certifications
  • Lean / Six Sigma knowledge
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing facility setting
  • Combination of office and hands-on work
  • Occasional travel and on-call responsibilities
