Facilities Coordinator

Job Description Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities & Real Estate team. This role promotes a safe, secure and suitable working environment by assisting with office services and facilities management responsibilities.

Our business, your impact, our opportunity: What you'll be doing: Office Supplies/Breakroom Coordinates office supply ordering (which will also include coffee and snack orders for the breakroom). Manage current supply inventory to anticipate future needs. Oversight of breakroom supplies and coffee machines. Closely coordinates with the Facility Manager to ensure maintenance and repairs are reported and resolved, vendors are managed and service is consistent. Assists with the set up and breakdown of the training and meeting rooms for office events Inspects office common areas at the end of each day to ensure they are organized, neat and clean. Assists with the emergency evacuation efforts Helps manage spaces for both full-time staff and visitors; cleans out spaces vacated and sets up for new hires. Reviews floor to identify items that are broken for either repair/replacement and/or disposal. Serves as a back-up for other team members when needed. Provides additional support for executive admins when needed. Assign/delete security access badges for Irvine office as needed. Order business cards for Irvine employees per request. What you'll bring: High School Graduate 3 to 7) years' experience in office administration preferred Experience in vendor relationship preferred Demonstrates analytical ability and good business judgement Incumbent must be able to manage multiple priorities Demonstrates a sense of urgency Demonstrates ability to achieve goals through teamwork and collaboration Experience using Windows and Microsoft Office programs Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and other business colleagues Performs a variety of tasks Must be able to lift up to (50) lbs At Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
