full-time
Job Description:
About ENZO Olive Oil Company ENZO Olive Oil Company is one of California's premier producers of certified extra virgin olive oil, rooted in the fertile soils of the San Joaquin Valley and guided by an unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and authenticity. From our certified organic orchards to our state-of-the-art milling facility, every step of our process reflects a passion for craftsmanship and a respect for the land. We are proud members of the California Olive Oil Council (COOC) and the Olive Oil Commission of California (OOCC), and we hold CCOF organic certification as a cornerstone of our identity. Position Overview The Milling & Facility Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for all aspects of olive oil production, from orchard to bottle. This individual will oversee the full milling and bottling operation, ensure the integrity and quality of every product bearing the ENZO name, and manage the physical infrastructure of our facility to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep operational experience in food or beverage production, whether from the olive oil industry, the wine and winemaking world, craft spirits, specialty food manufacturing, or a related field. A background in cellar management, production operations, or quality assurance in a premium agricultural processing environment will translate directly to this role. What matters most is a meticulous eye for quality, a systems-oriented mindset, and the leadership ability to inspire a production team toward excellence. Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on production experience in olive oil, wine, spirits, specialty food, or a comparable agricultural processing environment - cellar managers, winemakers, and production leads from the wine industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • You have managed a production facility before - equipment, crews, sanitation schedules, and production runs. You know what it takes to keep things moving.
  • Solid working knowledge of quality control and food safety programs (HACCP, SQF, or equivalent). You don't need someone to remind you why it matters.
  • Comfortable with organic certification requirements and genuinely committed to sustainable production practices.
  • Proficient with ERP or inventory management systems; experience with Famous Software is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, OSHA, and EPA compliance in a food manufacturing context.
  • A natural leader who earns respect on the floor - not just by title, but by showing up and doing the work alongside the team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle competing priorities during a compressed, high-stakes seasonal operation.
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively across field crews, production staff, sales, and executive leadership.
  • A degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Enology, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred - but proven experience will always speak louder than a diploma here.
