Exodus Recovery is proud to operate San Diego County's first county-funded Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF)—and we are building a strong, mission-driven team to support the individuals we serve. About the PHF Our 24-hour LPS-designated Psychiatric Health Facility in Oceanside provides short-term inpatient stabilization (average 5-7 days) for adults 18+ experiencing acute psychiatric or co-occurring conditions.

Rapid stabilization Collaborative treatment planning Meaningful discharge planning Strong community reintegration You'll work closely with psychiatry, nursing, case management, and support staff in a structured but dynamic environment where your clinical growth is supported and valued. What You'll Do As a Social Services Coordinator I (Associate level), you will: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments Provide supportive interventions and assist with crisis stabilization Support discharge planning and community linkage efforts Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary team members Coordinate with community providers, housing resources, and support systems Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Advocate for clients during one of the most vulnerable moments in their lives You'll play an important role in supporting patients as they stabilize and transition successfully back into the community. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ACSW or AMFT (required) Two (2) years of clinical experience in the mental health field or hospital setting preferred Substance use treatment experience preferred Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions, clinical assessment, community resources, and crisis intervention Ability to work independently, demonstrate mature judgment, and manage time effectively
Education:
Master's degree required in a mental health-related field (MSW, MFT, or related)
Preferred:
Experience in inpatient, crisis, or acute psychiatric settings Current CPR certification Why Work at Exodus?
