Local or Traveler Shift:
Variable We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems and critical infrastructure in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. This role focuses on maintaining uptime, preventive maintenance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, steam/boiler, water, compressed air, and mechanical infrastructure Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs Monitor system performance and proactively address operational risks Support uninterrupted facility operations and respond to system failures Lead troubleshooting efforts during maintenance and emergencies Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and audit requirements Manage vendors, service contracts, and maintenance activities Support budget planning and capital improvement projects Assist with equipment installation and facility expansion initiatives Work alongside technicians when needed to resolve issues quickly Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and repairs Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required 5+ years of facilities, plant, or equipment management experience Strong knowledge of HVAC, steam systems, boilers, electrical, water, and mechanical systems Experience managing preventive maintenance programs Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance budgets Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Technical certifications, OSHA training, or related credentials preferred For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
