Job Description

Facility Associate Sonoma Country Day School | Santa Rosa, CA The Facility Associate will report to the Rentals Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Director of Finance and Operations.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Associate to join our dynamic facilities team. The Facility Associate works to staff rental events and ensure smooth operations before, during, and after events. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for SCDS employees and renters alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in facilities & events management while contributing to a thriving organization committed to excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Open and close the building Assist in setting up and breaking down events Operate lighting and sound in the tech booth as needed Perform crowd management as needed Maintain the neat appearance of the facility and coordinate with custodial staff as needed Support the renter with any additional needs
Qualifications:

Education Level:
High school diploma 1+ years of experience in technical theatre and/or event coordination ideal We will train the right person! -
Skills:
Attention to detail Proficiency with technology and ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately Communication skills for clear documentation and teamwork Experience in a facilities or events setting is highly desirable. Customer service orientation Proactive & creative approach to problem-solving
Working Conditions:
Part-time position, primarily requiring evening and weekend work Must be available during peak busy periods throughout the year Mostly indoors, with occasional outdoor events Must be able to lift 25+ lbs Must be able to remain standing and go up/down stairs for extended periods of time Please contact Rebecca Wolohan at rebecca@scds.org with any questions.
