Full-time Job Summary :
The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Metron's Louisville manufacturing facility. This is a single-site, autonomous role supporting a manufacturing environment that includes production, warehousing, engineering, R D, and office spaces. The Facilities Manager serves as the sole on-site facilities resource and is expected to operate with a high degree of independence. This position operates without a facilities support structure; the incumbent is expected to function as the subject matter expert and work independently with minimal supervision. A critical near-term priority for this role is leading the relocation of Metron's production facility from the current site to a new building. The Facilities Manager will serve as the primary on-site project manager for this transition, coordinating across internal stakeholders, contractors, equipment vendors, and leadership to ensure the move is executed safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. This includes planning and sequencing the physical transfer of production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure; managing third-party service providers; ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met at the new site; and overseeing the decommissioning of the existing facility.
Company Overview :

Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, water systems, fire protection, and access control/security systems across manufacturing, warehouse, R D, and office spaces. Lead facility projects including moves, transitions, renovations, expansions, and capital improvements from planning through execution, including the decommissioning and closeout of the Boulder facility. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs; coordinate emergency repairs to minimize production downtime. Ensure facility compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, and local and state regulations; obtain and maintain all required permits. Manage proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. Select, manage, and hold accountable outside contractors and vendors; negotiate service agreements and oversee contractor safety and performance. Serve as the facility liaison with regulatory agencies, utilities, permit authorities, and city/municipal contacts. Procure services, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to support facility operations and capital projects. Assure a safe work environment for all employees and visitors; adjust or shut down equipment or processes in response to hazardous conditions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
