Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing or industrial facility. In this vital role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate seamlessly to support production activities. Your expertise in facilities management, mechanical systems, electrical and low/high voltage systems, and industrial maintenance will drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. Duties Manage daily operations of the facility's maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, HVAC units, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and industrial equipment using schematics and technical manuals Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance schedules Supervise the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing processes Lead projects related to facility upgrades or expansions with strong project management skills, ensuring timely completion within budget Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues or mechanical failures; interpret schematics for troubleshooting complex systems Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage), industrial maintenance standards, and environmental protocols Supervise subcontractors or external vendors providing specialized services such as HVAC servicing or electrical repairs Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and equipment performance for audit purposes Qualifications Proven management experience overseeing facilities or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance tasks Proficiency with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management and scheduling Knowledge of HVAC systems including installation, repair, and routine servicing Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in an industrial setting Ability to read schematics accurately using tools such as ohmmeters; understanding of electrical theory is essential Supervising experience demonstrating leadership skills in team coordination and performance management Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration across departments Project management skills to oversee upgrades or new installations from planning through execution Join us as a Facilities Manager where your expertise will foster a safe, efficient environment that supports our manufacturing excellence.
