Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Admissions Director to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Admissions Director plays a key role in coordinating resident admissions, building strong relationships with referral sources, and ensuring a smooth transition for new residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the admissions process from initial referral through resident admission Coordinate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, and families regarding placements Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families Verify insurance coverage and ensure required documentation is completed Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure appropriate placement and care planning Maintain positive relationships with referral partners and community organizations Lead and participate in community marketing and outreach to promote facility Track admissions data and assist with census development initiatives
Qualifications:
Previous admissions, marketing, or healthcare experience preferred Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting strongly preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes is a plus Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic records
