Full-Time Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our aerospace manufacturing and R D facilities. This role requires strong expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with aerospace industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Lead facility upgrade and expansion projects, including equipment installation and infrastructure improvements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to facility operations and environmental health and safety.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Source and manage service contracts for building systems, janitorial services, landscaping, and security.
  • Supervise a team of support staff.
  • Provide training and development to ensure high performance and safety awareness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing,
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building automation, and energy management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • OSHA Training highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager).
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ITAR, etc.).
  • Experience with cleanroom environments or specialized aerospace testing facilities.
