Job Description

Facilities Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
Reports to Facilities Manager Assign and oversee the technical staff's daily operations Monitor safety of staff operations and building environment. Report and correct any safety violations and conditions Maintain and control process repair and facilities repair documentation Prioritize and assign repair requests to department staff members Help Facilities Manager supervise and monitor progress of improvement projects Report progress and delays against project timelines to Facilities Manager Control and make improvements to parts and equipment inventory system Requisition parts and supplies as needed Oversee maintenance, repairs, and documentation for major infrastructure systems which include boilers, air compressors, and power generation equipment along with associated CHP equipment. Assist in all aspects of property buildings and grounds maintenance at both New London and Norwich locations Assist Facilities Manager in the safety and orientation training process for new hires Provide feedback and assist Facilities Manager with end of year employee evaluations Other duties as assigned by
Facilities Manager Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 8 years of Maintenance/Machine Shop experience and/or training in facilities At least 2 years successfully leading a team . High mechanical comprehension
