Full Job Description Position Overview:

Boca Lago Golf & Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to support the daily maintenance and overall presentation of our club. This role is essential in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained, providing an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and basic repairs including painting, minor plumbing, light carpentry, and routine upkeep Assist in maintaining the appearance and functionality of all club facilities, including indoor and outdoor spaces Complete daily janitorial duties, including cleaning restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, and common spaces Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments Assist with event setup and breakdown to support club functions and activities Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Follow all safety procedures and club standards while performing duties

Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and use of hand and power tools Experience with painting and minor plumbing preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods Dependable, team-oriented, and professional in appearance and attitude

Compensation:

$15-$17 per hour , based on experience

Work Environment:

This position requires flexibility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Availability for weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings is required to support club operations.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
