Job Description
Position Title:
Director of Clinical Programming- Mental Health Program
MUST BE LICENSED
Organization structure: The Director of Clinical Programming will report directly to the Clinical Director and the Director of Operations.Employment Status:
Full time Purpose of the role: To Ensure the integrity, consistency and quality of clinical programming by supervising frontline staff, supporting curriculum implementation, and maintaining alignment with Flyland Recovery Network's clinical models. This role provides leadership to the therapeutic team, ensures compliance with Florida Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) regulations , and maintains standards required by accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission or CARF . The Program Supervisor enhances clinical programming, team culture, and patient engagement through curriculum development, quality assurance, and direct clinical care- ensuring program effectiveness with measurable outcomes and a high standard of compassionate, trauma-informed service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Psychology, or a related licensable clinical degree required from an accredited college or university.
- Valid license in Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, or Psychology in the State of Florida (Required)
- Background clearance required
- Minimum of two years' experience in the use of psychosocial assessment and psychotherapeutic methods and measures in a hospital, clinic or agency.
- Significant experience with chronic disorders preferred. Previous clinical responsibility includes crisis and family intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required as well as knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, professional board standards as related to client treatment, client rights, and client/patient confidentiality.

- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs.
- Knowledge of State guidelines.
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality Laws.
- Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies and Procedures.
- Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Supervision and Staff Support a. Provide group and individual supervision to clinical staff to b. Ensure adherence to trauma-informed, evidenced based and ethical practices c. Ensure adherence to documentation requirements (quality and compliance) via feedback from QA department 2. Program Fidelity and Curriculum Oversight a. Assess, develop and ensure fidelity to respective program curriculums b. Assist in roll out and training of curriculum updates and clinical interventions c. Monitor and optimize clinical programming schedule, Golden Hour programming schedule and clinical operations d. Monitor and ensure fidelity to Family Programming e. Observe, evaluate and audit clinician's individual and group sessions and family calls 3. Staff Development and Training a. Facilitate clinical in-service trainings b. Onboard new clinical staff in coordination with HR and Executive Director of Programming based on agency's stands of operations c. Coach underperforming staff through staff development plans when needed 4. Operational Support a. Support Operations Department in facilitation of Interdisciplinary meetings and communicate clinical updates to nursing, operations and leadership b. Communicate with patient families to ensure continuity of care c. Facilitate acute caseload based on staffing pattern and clinical necessity d. Lead and participate in patient related interventions e. Respond to patient complaints related to clinical services and assist in resolving conflict or disruption f. Participate in monthly Performance Improvement Committee meetings g. Participate in QA/UR meetings, chart audits, Joint Commission or DCF prep as needed 5. Leadership and Culture Building a. Foster team cohesion, moral and accountability with the clinical department b. Promote a safe inclusive and feedback-driven environment for clinicians c. Participate in weekly Leadership meetings with Operations and Nursing department heads to ensure consistency, safety and overall cohesion of the facility/patient needs. d. Exhibit excellent interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills e. Collaborate with leadership to track and improve clinical KPIs, ensuring programmatic effectiveness through data-informed decisions and outcomes-based care. f. Assess and respond to crisis and/or psychiatric emergencies as neededJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
$75,000.00- $90,000.
