Facilities Manager Humane Society of Tampa Bay Inc - 3.1 Tampa, FL Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description For over a 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We're currently seeking a full time Facilities Manager to oversee the building projects, maintenance and grounds of our Tampa and Clearwater locations. The functions of this role include, but are not limited to, managing projects, building maintenance, overseeing the groundskeeping, fleet maintenance and working closely with our vendors.
Duties and responsibilities:
Implementing and managing various projects for animal hospital and two shelters (Tampa and Clearwater) Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the property grounds Maintaining the fleet of vehicles Building maintenance and repairs Working with vendors to schedule projects and maintenance
Qualifications:
Verbal and written communication, including active listening, for determining and discussing building needs and communicating these to contractors, suppliers and the occupants Mathematics and accounting to meet budgets and identify cost-saving measures Customer service skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving Business management, including scheduling, strategic planning and administration Understanding of current building and safety regulations Computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) Good driving record required Fork lift certified preferred Schedule involves working weekends Salary is negotiable based on experience A very generous benefits package - includes the use of a company vehicle Experience working with animals is preferred.
