Job Description
The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating maintenance, operations, and safety of our buildings and grounds, managing facilities staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices while creating a welcoming and well-managed environment for our members, guests, and staff. Essential Responsibilities Manage all aspects of facility administration, budget, maintenance, and safety. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable regulatory requirements. Manage maintenance schedules and facility improvement plans. Manage vendor contracts, facility budgets, and procurement processes. Lead the team of maintenance staff and approved contractors/vendors. Coordinate and implement building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with church leadership to support ministry needs and facility usage. Qualifications and Requirements Strong foundation and knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and property management best practices. Minimum of two years of mid-level related facility management experience. Associate degree or certification in facility or construction management, business administration, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and operational efficiency. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Passion for supporting the mission and values of Bible-Based Fellowship Church Tampa Bay.
