Job Description

We are a national, family owned leading employer and provider of janitorial, and maintenance services at over 150 locations across 39 states. We deliver world-class building operations, facility maintenance and janitorial services by providing clients with state of the art equipment and expertly trained highly motivated employees! We are currently looking for a Facilities Manager in Palm Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot maintenance issues, perform snow removal, paint and manage housekeeping duties.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems and manage outside sub-contractors Must be available to be "on call" to perform maintenance as needed and work with personnel issues as they arise Directly manage all Housekeeping personnel in a positive manner to help them achieve their goals setting them up for success Operate site issued vehicle for snow removal and utilizing vehicle to perform supply pick up Monitor and assist tenants with operational issues that relate to the property. Complete repairs and maintenance items as needed while also looking for preventive measures to develop and implement. Monitor the lighting system, make seasonal adjustments to lighting schedule, change light bulbs and ballasts when required. Maintain property with general up-keep and repairs, apply paint when needed and ensure surfaces are clean and in good repair. Assist with monitoring utility usage by all tenants, make recommendations when required. Assist in maintaining radio and communications equipment Develop and maintain employee labor schedules per week and reporting them weekly Maintain predetermined budgets for labor, supplies, fuel Adhering to and submitting to immediate supervisor all reporting necessary for property location Provide training to all housekeeping staff and maintain records Ensure all new hire applications are complete, as well as any additional personnel action forms or items that are required or requested by Human Resources, Risk Management, and Operations Responsible for inspecting quality control of all assignments during all working hours Must review staffing needs across the facility and prospective new employees with Management. Responsible for all interviews, employee orientation, uniform policy, and communicating disciplinary actions with Human Resources Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control of supplies and materials needed for the cleaning program
Requirements:
Facilities Manager - able to perform and oversee maintenance and housekeeping at a outdoor mall. Perferred experience of 5 years. Bilingual required. Experienced managerial experience needed also. H.S Diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid state issued Driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record Custodian & Grounds Management experience (preferred HVAC mechanicals & control experience preferred Plumbing, Carpentry & Electric experience Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills Experienced in managing budgets, labor schedules and asset tracking Proficient with Microsoft applications Word and Excel Strong customer service skills and employee relation skills
Schedule:
Generally Tuesday thru Saturday dayshift but demand dictates some of the schedule
