Scope of Position The Assistant Facility Manager assist in the day-to-day parking operations at Hilo International Airport ensuring that parking operations are handled within the contractual guidelines of the location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business. Essential Functions Responsibilities To perform the Assistant Facility Manager position successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty and responsibility listed below with little supervision: Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations Assist with management duties as assigned Courteously assist customers Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc. Substitute for any position, if necessary Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage Complete other duties as needed Position Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the individual selected for the Assistant Facility Manager position: Availability To Work The individual selected for the Assistant Facility Manager position must have open availability to work according to business demands including overnights, weekends, holidays and special events. Licenses and Certifications The individual selected for the Assistant Facility Manager position will be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record. Language Skills The individual selected for the Assistant Facility Manager position must possess and demonstrate the ability to: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos Write clear and informative correspondence Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors and other employees of the organization Reasoning Skills The individual selected for the Assistant Facility Manager position must possess and demonstrate the ability to:
