You will play a vital role in maximizing facility uptime through expert troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and the optimization of industrial mechanical systems. Responsibilities Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, industrial boilers, and HVAC units to ensure peak performance. Monitor and analyze engine room operations, maintaining precise logs to track system health and efficiency. Perform water chemistry testing for boilers and condenser towers to prevent system degradation. Troubleshoot and repair compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, and control valves following manufacturer specifications. Support facility reliability by managing equipment installations, startups, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory usage within computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Uphold rigorous safety standards, including LOTO procedures and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contractors to execute facility projects and training. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems. Proficiency in maintaining industrial boilers, steam systems, and plant utilities. Ability to interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and piping schematics. Preferred Skills Professional certifications such as RETA, CARO, CIRO, or equivalent. Experience working within PSM-regulated environments. Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise maintenance software. Proven track record of coordinating with vendors and technical contractors.
