Full-time, non-exempt Summary The Facilities Specialist, under the guidance of the Manager of Facilities, is responsible for general maintenance and a variety of daily tasks to pro-actively maintain all Veridian facilities. Essential Functions Inspect all facilities on a regular basis and ensure that all building systems and operations are working efficiently. Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry duties as required. Assist Manager in coordination of building and remodeling projects. Set up for meetings, etc., at the direction of Manager. Responsible for pickup/delivery of supplies, etc., at the direction of Manager. Responsible for pro-actively maintaining a professional image at all credit union offices (interior and exterior). Store and properly discard confidential records as needed. Key Attributes Oral and written communication skills. Member service focus. Attention to detail and accuracy. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Remain sedentary (seated) for extended periods of time. Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb. Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work both inside and outside in hot/cold, wet/humid, and dry conditions. The employee may also be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts. Work in confined spaces and on ladders/scaffolds is often required. Travel Extensive travel; valid driver s license required. Required Education and Experience High school diploma. 5+ years of related work experience.
