Job Description

Overview The Project Manager's role is the overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project. Through contacts with general contractors, architects, engineers, and code officials, the employee will be involved with all phases of design and construction management including user programming, design, construction, close-out/evaluation, and budget reporting.

Responsibilities Manage assigned healthcare construction projects from planning through close‑out under general direction, including design coordination, construction execution, and occupancy Coordinate with clinical users, operational leaders, architects, engineers, and contractors to support development of project scope, space requirements, and phasing plans. Assist with development and ongoing management of approved project budgets and schedules; track expenditures, changes, and progress, and report variances to leadership. Support regulatory and code compliance activities, including coordination with local authorities and state health departments, under guidance of senior staff. Monitor construction activities in active healthcare environments to ensure patient safety, infection control, and minimal operational disruption. Assist in implementation and monitoring of Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) for assigned projects. Participate in project meetings, document decisions, track action items, and maintain project records and reporting tools Support quality control, issue resolution, and change management processes as directed Assist with project close‑out activities, including punch lists, documentation turnover, warranties, and coordination with Facilities Operations About Us Find it here. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $37.64per hour - $64.74per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
