- Full-time Join One of the Fastest-Growing Sports Brands in the Country We are seeking a driven, energetic, and hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of our premier indoor pickleball facility in Waukegan, IL.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in hospitality, fitness, recreation, or operations management and is passionate about building an outstanding member and guest experience. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of club operations including team leadership, membership growth, customer experience, events, programming, and facility performance. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming, high-energy environment that keeps members engaged and excited to return. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, building community relationships, driving business results, and being part of a rapidly growing organization. What You'll Do Lead and oversee all day-to-day club operations Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members Create an exceptional member and guest experience Drive membership sales, retention, and community engagement Manage scheduling, staffing, and operational efficiency Ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall facility standards Plan and support leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events Monitor financial performance and help achieve club goals Build relationships within the local community and represent the brand professionally Maintain a positive, team-oriented culture throughout the facility What We're Looking For 3+ years of leadership or management experience Background in hospitality, fitness, recreation, retail, entertainment, or operations management preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Experience managing teams and motivating employees Sales and membership growth mindset Passion for creating positive customer experiences Weekend and evening availability as needed Pickleball knowledge or experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
