Adult Classes & Programs Schedule:
40 hours/week; flexible schedule Creative, organized, and people-driven-you turn ideas into programs that bring the community together. What You'll Do You'll lead the planning and execution of adult and older adult programs across the Community Center. From developing class offerings to coordinating instructors and managing logistics, you'll create engaging experiences that reflect community interests and keep programs running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and evaluate classes and programs based on trends and participant feedback
  • Recruit, coordinate, and support instructors and volunteers
  • Manage program logistics including budgets, materials, registrations, and reporting
  • Promote programs through marketing coordination and community outreach
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including setup, customer service, and problem-solving Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise instructors, volunteers, and contracted program staff
  • Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance oversight What You Bring - Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in recreation, education, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • Experience planning or coordinating programs, classes, or events
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Certifications Valid Indiana Driver's License (if operating a City vehicle)
  • CPR and First Aid knowledge preferred Technical Skills & Knowledge Microsoft Office and general technology proficiency
  • Experience with Canva or marketing/design tools preferred
