Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience About Provive Wellness Provive Wellness is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based treatment for mental health (MH) and substance use disorders (SUD). As we expand into the Indianapolis area, we are looking for an experienced Director of Operations (DOO) to spearhead the opening of our new facility, oversee licensing processes, and transition into managing daily operations. Position Overview Initially, the Director of Operations will primarily focus on obtaining licensure and ensuring full regulatory compliance for our new Indianapolis-area facility. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of state licensing requirements, facility setup, and operational planning. Once the facility is licensed and operational, the DOO will transition into a full-time operational leadership role, responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions. Initial Responsibilities (Facility Setup & Licensing): Lead and coordinate all licensing activities required for MH and SUD services in Indiana, ensuring timely and compliant completion. Collaborate with state and local regulatory agencies, manage application submissions, and track deadlines and requirements. Set up operational systems, including policy development, staffing plans, and initial training schedules. Develop facility protocols to align with state licensing, Joint Commission, and other accreditation standards. Establish relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and industry partners. Ongoing Responsibilities (Operational Management): Oversee daily operations, including administrative, admissions, and facility management teams. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards (HIPAA, Joint Commission, Indiana FSSA). Manage financial oversight, budget planning, expense management, and billing optimization. Develop and maintain a positive, growth-oriented workplace culture. Work closely with clinical teams and executive leadership to implement strategic goals and ensure quality patient care. Continuously evaluate and improve facility operations and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field). Minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare operations management; behavioral health experience strongly preferred. Proven track record with facility licensing and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation.
