Facilities Operations Manager

Purcell Commercial Cleaning, LLC is an established janitorial and maintenance company with over 20 years in the industry, operating out of Munster, Indiana.

Purcell Commercial Cleaning currently services Indiana and Illinois.

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to oversee sites in various counties in NW Indiana. This position requires flexibility to sometimes work various hours/shifts as needed.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Provides supervision to Team Supervisors and Janitorial Team Leads along with initial and on-going training as necessary
• Communicates professionally, clearly, and succinctly, in both verbal and written forms
• Maintains records of supplies and equipment at job sites to ensure that proper orders are placed
• Plan and prepare staff schedules to ensure coverage and assign tasks Communicates with Team Supervisors and Team Leads to ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and inventoried Make employment decisions, including hiring, discipline, reviewing employee timecards, and termination Establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships with peers and staff
• Provides coverage for absent employees (Specific duties may vary depending on the list of specifications required by the client at each location Tour work sites for inspections and customer follow up
• Other duties as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous supervisory and management experience 3-5 years Proven leadership and organization skills
• Basic computer skills, including but not limited to: Internet Browsers, E-Mail, Microsoft Outlook and Office applications, etc. Must possess a Valid Driver's license Must pass a background screening
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus Military veterans a plus
