Job Description

Assists with the weekend operations of the Tulane Campus Recreation downtown fitness center. Primary responsibilities include the supervision of front line staff, assisting with customer inquiries, general maintenance, and equipment inventory and upkeep. This position ensures efficient building operations, and accurate dissemination and enforcement of facility policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include opening of the facility, and routine safety and facility inspections.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: High school diploma or equivalent AND Two (2) years of relevant job experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Sport Administration or a related field Demonstrated experience in the supervision of facilities and facilities staff Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with colleagues Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse user groups Ability to work independently Current certifications in CPR and First Aid
