Job Description:
This Facilities Manager role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple Cambridge properties, including office and residential spaces, while ensuring the buildings are well-maintained and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. The position requires a proactive approach to routine property inspections, maintenance coordination, space and parking reservations, front desk scheduling, and office inventory management. This individual will also support the day-to-day needs of a residential property by managing access requests, responding to resident needs, and preparing guest accommodations. The role includes supervising facilities and administrative staff, as well as managing external vendors by supporting selection processes, monitoring service delivery, drafting procurement requests, tracking contracts, and processing invoices. In addition, this person will collaborate closely with internal teams to align facilities operations across locations, support events hosted on-site, and contribute to annual budget planning. The ideal candidate is highly accountable, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive efficient, positive outcomes.
