Full Job Description Overview:

Non-exempt Pay Range :
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour •starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications• Responsible for the overall cleaning, care & preventative maintenance for the
Lowell Corp Duties & Responsibilities:
a) Thorough cleaning of the entire building as outlined in the cleaning schedule b) Inventory control, ordering & stocking of all cleaning supplies and equipment c) Setting up and breaking down of rooms for program purposes as needed d) Cleaning and maintenance of outside grounds & windows e) Touch up paint as needed f) Timely moving of all donations through contact with ARC Representative g) Preparation of A/C and Heating Thermostats for winter and summer h) Breakdown and dispose of boxes and other garbage on a daily basis keeping dumpster locked. i) Turn out all lights (except offices) and secure building each day prior to leaving j) Unloading of food items and other donations k) Assist Caseworker in the weekly food pick-up at Food Bank l) Move/lift furnishings, equipment and food items m) Errands and/or donation pick-up n) Salt & snow removal of sidewalks, entrance ways, dumpster area, bus & van and parking area clean-up after contactor is finished - included snow fall outside of the normal work schedule o) Development of a Preventative Maintenance schedule p) Work in consultation with Direct Supervisor & Corps Officer for any building maintenance problems q) Preventative maintenance and cleaning of vehicles r) HVAC, Plumbing & electrical work as permitted by respective codes s) Coordination with outside contractors for quotes and work as approved t) Coordination of all inspections related to physical buildings u)
Christmas Related Duties:
o Food / toy pickups and deliveries as needed o Transportation of kettle workers as needed o Christmas Castle Set-up o Daily cleaning of Christmas Castle o Assist staff and volunteers with lifting/moving items as needed
