Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Director of Facilities and Aquatic Safety to lead all aspects of aquatics facility management, staff oversight, and safety compliance. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and efficiently operated environment, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and alignment with CRA's mission and values. Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Mentor and support all lifeguards, ensuring alignment with CRA's mission and philosophy Hire, schedule and supervise all lifeguard personnel Lead onboarding and orientation for new lifeguards Communicate facility or operational concerns to management and appropriate vendors Administrative Partner with the management to develop and manage staff and pool schedules Serve as a point of contact for members, program participants and staff inquiries Assist with ordering equipment, aquatics supplies and First Aid materials Collaborate with the facility team to address issues and plan future improvements Ensure all staff certifications remain current and compliant Organize and lead lifeguard and CPR certification courses Facility & Operations Work with internal staff and external vendors to maintain all water quality, environmental, health and safety standards Ensure full compliance with all local, state and national regulations and certifications required for pool operation Oversee maintenance and functionality of all facility equipment and technology Manage and enforce annual maintenance contracts (e.g., diving boards, timing systems, scoreboard) Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility Qualifications & Certifications Current Lifeguard Certification First Aid and CPR Certification Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification Lifeguard Instructor certification Must have previous experience in aquatics facility management or a related field Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us?
