$125,000 annually About the Role Cleantec is looking for an experienced Director of Facilities to oversee all aspects of facilities operations for our client sites. This role is responsible for maintenance, cleaning, repair, construction oversight, and project management — ensuring safe, clean, and well-functioning environments for students and staff. You'll lead a facilities team and work closely with site leadership to drive strategic initiatives and keep projects on time and on budget. What You'll Do Manage and maintain facilities operations including custodial, building maintenance, and grounds. Develop and oversee a preventative maintenance program for HVAC, playground equipment, and other systems. Lead and manage a facilities team — hiring, training, evaluating, and supporting staff. Oversee onsite construction and renovation projects, including managing budgets, RFPs, contractors, and timelines. Conduct regular building inspections and ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards. Manage CMMS and BMS/EMS systems. Serve as the point of contact for contractors, architects, engineers, and local government agencies. Requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years managing a facilities department (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred) or 10+ years of facilities management experience. Experience in facilities project management, including RFP development and budget oversight. Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, custodial, carpentry, and grounds maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA, ASHRAE, and EPA regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. CMMS and BMS/EMS experience required. Bonus Points PMP, FMP, CFM, or ProFM certification. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Other Requirements Valid Driver's License, background check, and TB testing required.
