Position:
$41.00 - $51.00/Hour •All Pay Rates are subject to Experience, License or Certification and Location• Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center is one of the largest community health centers in Massachusetts serving Worcester, Framingham, Milford and the surrounding communities. We are a thriving and growing organization, and our team is expanding across sites to support this growth We are hiring a Facilities Supervisor based in Worcester, MA. The Facilities Supervisor will oversee the maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of all Kennedy CHC-owned and leased facilities. This role will manage facilities staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure clean, safe, and well-functioning environments for patients and employees. The Facilities Supervisor will also support construction and renovation projects, while ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Job Summary :
Lead facilities staff through hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and staff development. Oversee facility operations across all sites to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient environments. Serve as Safety Officer and maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and inspection requirements. Manage building systems, maintenance operations, vendors, contractors, and landlord relationships. Oversee facility projects, renovations, and capital improvements, including budgeting and contractor coordination. Direct fire safety, emergency preparedness, utilities, equipment maintenance, and environment-of-care programs. Conduct site inspections and ensure timely resolution of facility and safety concerns. Manage SDS compliance, facility documentation, and related committee activities. Assist with facilities operating and capital budgets, grant reporting, and RFP support.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of facilities management experience. 5+ years of staff supervision and leadership experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security, and building management systems. Proven ability to manage vendor and contractor relationships effectively. Working knowledge of state and local building codes and regulatory compliance requirements. Familiarity with OSHA regulations applicable to healthcare environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new software systems as needed.
