Job Description

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Property Director at the Bath Area Family YMCA intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined while also overseeing the maintenance and improvement of all 3 branches of our YMCA facilities as well as vehicles.
Qualifications:
Minimum 21 years old
  • 5 years of experience in building operation and supervision of maintenance staff.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, fire safety codes & regulations, electrical and mechanical systems and other maintenance-related areas.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience of pool health requirements and operation of pool equipment.
  • Certified Pool / Spa Operator Certification (CPO) required within 120 days of employment.
  • YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.
  • Skills in supervision, budget management and project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to respond to emergency facility calls during off-hours including evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred.
  • Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
