Full Job Description Job Summary:
The facilities supervisor will provide leadership and oversight to the operations of Nativity's facility. The grounds, building, and equipment will be maintained for meaningful worship, education, and fellowship experiences for the congregation and community.
Essential Functions:
Handle minor equipment maintenance and repairs. Responsible for the cleanliness of the church building and grounds. Handle the logistics of the weekly events including HVAC controls. Work with and schedule outside service providers. Coordinate the work/duties of the part-time custodian staff. Maintain necessary supply inventory.
Other Responsibilities:
Participate in weekly staff meetings. This will help to keep informed of upcoming events scheduled that require set-up and clean up. Clean and replenish altar supplies. Clean and replenish kitchenette supplies Train and work with volunteers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical degree and /or experience that provide the level of leadership, knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the position profile. Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft products, energy managements systems and security systems. Ability to learn other computer software. Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license. Have a positive attitude and care for the Nativity Church community. Ability to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
