This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. The facilities manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and housekeeping functions of buildings and grounds. This role ensures that facilities are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and support efficient facilities operations. The facilities manager leads maintenance staff, coordinates vendors, and responds promptly to facility-related issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervisor daily facilities management, including maintenance, cleaning, security and groundskeeping. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and facility related issues. Lead, schedule and train facilities management staff and coordinate with external vendors and contractors. Conduct regular inspections to ensure buildings, equipment, and systems are safe and operational. Maintain preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and purchasing of facility-related material. Prepare reports on maintenance activities, incidents, and facilities performance. Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment. Minimum Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Technical certification or associate degree in a related field. 3 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents Proficiency in basic computer applications (work order systems, email, spreadsheets) Preferred Education/Experience Associate's degree in a related field and 5 years of experience. Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
